What does Calisthenics provide you with?

For me, Calisthenics means discovering what is possible with my body

What is your specialty / style?

I specialize in hand balancing

How often do you train, with what – and how?

I train 4-5 times a week. I like variation in my training, so the training sessions differ from sets and reps, running, hand balancing and freestyle.

How do you prepare for a competition battle?

By just keep training and having fun.

How far do you go for the sports and where’s the boundary?

I go as far as it feels good. Sometimes I like to drive a long distance and other times I will train in the gym near by home.

Who is your example athlete? Why?

Melanie Driessen. She was the first female calisthenics athlete in The Netherlands. Her tricks are awesome and she is a great ambassador for this sport.
